PLACING AN ORDER
 
Order Online:
Simply choose the item(s) you wish to purchase by going to the product page and select your "color choice" from the drop down selection box. Click "add to bag" and the product in your color selection will be added to your bag. Complete your billing and shipping information, along with choosing your shipping method, "submit order" and you are done. You will receive an automatic email confirming we have received your order.

ORDER PROCESSING
 
Credit Card Processing/Security:
Both the cardholders billing and shipping information must match the information on file with the credit card issuing bank. If requesting an order be shipped to an address other than your billing address, the shipping address must also be on file with your credit card issuing bank. If your information cannot be verified, and the "Bill To" and "Ship To" addresses are different, we reserve the right to ship to the "Billing Address" provided in the order, or cancel the order.
 
Orders are preauthorized only upon order placement. Your credit card will not be charged until your order has shipped. If for any reason, your order is cancelled, your credit card account will continue to show a "pending" amount. The "pending" pre-authorization amount will automatically drop off your account within several business days, or as per your bank's policy.
 
 
Order Processing:
Orders ship within 3-5 business days, but in some instances will ship within 1-2 business days. If requesting Express or Expedited Shipping, orders will be shipped the same business day if item(s) in stock and order is received before 10am CST.
 
Due to cut-off times by our manufacturers, items in stock will begin processing within 24 hours if order is received before 10AM (CST). Orders received after 10AM (CST) will be processed the next business day. Orders placed after 10AM (CST) on Friday will begin processing the following business day Monday.
 
Any item(s) on backorder, out of stock or discontinued, we will notify you within 24 - 48 hours and allow you the option to have it shipped as soon as it is available, or cancel your order.

$42.00 - Expedited Shipping (1-3 Business Days)
 
 
Please Note: We do not ship to APO or FPO addresses.
 
Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii requesting a faster shipping method other than Standard Shipping are required to choose Expedited Shipping at checkout. Orders will be shipped UPS 2-Day only.

 
International Billing/Shipments - Via International Checkout:
Non US billing addresses are required to use International Checkout option at shopping cart. Shipping fees, duties and any other applicable taxes vary based on shipping selection and destination. Details 
 
Note: Due to the nature of the hair industry, international orders are final sale and do not qualify for return or exchange.
 
 

ORDER TRACKING
 
Standard Shipping is via UPS, USPS or FedEx with an average delivery time of between 5-8 business days. In stock and ready to ship items will most likely be received sooner. A tracking number will be provided via your shipment confirmation email specifying the shipping carrier used to deliver your order.
 
 
To Track Your Order, go to www.UPS.com, www.USPS.com or www.FedEx.com and enter your tracking number, or simply click on the tracking number link provided in your shipment confirmation email. A signature is required at time of delivery.
 
 

EXCHANGES & RETURNS

We will gladly accept returns and exchanges on items.
 
Please email us at exchange@theheadshoponline.com within 3-business days of order delivery date to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) prior to sending items back. 

Mark your RMA number clearly on the outside of your return shipping box prior to sending back and include a copy of your receipt noting if you are requesting to return or exchange, and the item style and color you are requesting in exchange. Packages received back without a visible RMA number on outside of box will not be accepted. 

Item(s) must be received back at our warehouse within 10-business days of your issued RMA in original factory condition with all tags still attached, hair netting and original packaging, without any brushing, combing or odors, as brand new.

NOTE: Exclusions for return or exchange include, wig care products, human hair, costume wigs, color rings, sale and closeout                       items.  FINAL SALE.

Exchanges:
We offer a one time exchange on your order. A 15% restocking fee (minimum $5.00) per item will be applied to exchange items. We charge our standard shipping fee of $7.95 to have your exchange item(s) shipped to you. Discount coupon codes, promotional codes, gift certificates received are not transferable to exchange items. (Note: A maximum of 2 items may be sent back to us for exchange. Exchange item(s) requested must be of equal or greater value of original item. Exchanges are final sale.
 
 
Returning items:
Returns are subject to a restocking fee, listed below. (A maximum of 2 items per order may be returned).

Note: Any promotional items received with your order must also be returned, or the retail cost of the item will also be deducted from your credit.
 
 
Restocking Fees:
25% - or minimum $5.00 per item whichever greater (same fee imposed on us, the distributor, to return items to manufacturer.)
$7.95 standard shipping deduction for original orders shipped under our free standard shipping offer.
Any shipping cost attached to original order is non-refundable.

Allow up to 14-business days for your return or exchange request to be processed after receiving your items back at our warehouse, and up to an additional 10-business days, or in some instances a billing cycle for any credit balance to appear back on your account. 
 
 
Defective or incorrect merchandise:
Please contact us no later than 3-business days of order delivery date at exchange@theheadshoponline.com for any incorrect or defective merchandise received to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Clearly specify in your email, the issue or problem with the merchandise received.
 
Merchandise MUST be received back at our warehouse within 10-business days of your RMA being issued.
 
Return shipping charges for the defective or incorrect product are to be pre-paid by the customer. Collect shipments will be refused.
 
If and item(s) is found to be defective or incorrect, your return shipping fee will be reimbursed and your order replaced with ONLY for the correct or EXACT style and color ordered. Merchandise determined damaged as a result of customer misuse or excessive treatment, or is the correct merchandise ordered, will automatically be returned to you.
 
 

GIFT CERTIFICATES
 
Gift Certificates - Purchase:
Gift Certificates are shipped to the purchaser free of charge by first class mail. You will receive a gift card and envelope that will be mailed to your shipping address. If you would like us to fill in the recipient's name, please indicate this in the Additional Comments box at checkout.
 
Gift Certificates - Redeem:
To redeem your Gift Certificate, simply place the item(s) in your shopping cart that you choose. On the checkout page, enter your Gift Certificate Code in the Promotional Code box and click on the "Go" button directly next to it. Your Gift Certificate amount will display below and your balance with the order. Then simply proceed through the checkout process by clicking on "Proceed to Checkout" and fill in your informational fields. Your Gift Certificate amount that applies to your order total will be reflected on the last page of your order summary before completion.
 
 
Please Note: The full amount of the Gift Certificate must be redeemed at time of order. No refunds, cash back, or credit balances will be issued.
 
 

COLOR SELECTION AND ORDERING POLICIES
 
Our online color swatches are are provided to be used as an online guide only. Different computer monitor resolutions can make color swatches vary greatly from viewed online to in person. Unless certain of your color selection when ordering, we strongly advise you purchase a color ring by the given manufacturer prior to ordering. While we appreciate it is difficult to choose a color when ordering wigs and hairpieces online, no exceptions will be made in waiving restocking and reshipping fees with our Returns and Exchanges Policy.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
 
The HeadShop Wigs shall not be held liable and will not issue a refund or credit in the case an order's delivery is delayed due to causes beyond the shipping carrier's control. This includes any weather delays, natural disasters, holiday schedules, or a carriers rescheduled delivery date implemented at their own discresion.
 
Orders sent back to us as refused upon delivery will incur a 50% restocking fee plus a non-refundable shipping fee. When you place an order with us, you are agreeing to acceptance of the merchandise ordered.
 
For orders returned to us as unclaimed or undeliverable, you will be informed of the returned order by telephone or email. If you choose to have your order reshipped to you, a $10.00 order reprocessing fee plus a minimum Standard Shipping Rate of $7.95 will be charged. If you opt to not have your order reshipped, you will be charged a 50% restocking fee plus non-refundable shipping fee.
 
If in the case a returned shipment resulted in an error on our part, the order will be re-shipped to you at no cost.
 
Lost Merchandise:
In the rare case an order should be confirmed as lost, not received or lost in transit, we will replace the item(s) purchased only after a claim has been filed with the carrier. No item(s) will be replaced until the shipment has been traced and notification has been issued by the carrier of non-delivery which can take up to 30-days.
 
 

CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF ORDER
 
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or modified. As items are ordered for you from the manufacturer, once an order is received, it goes into process. No changes or cancellations will be made at this point. If you found you made a mistake in the ordering process, you will need to wait for the item to be delivered, then contact us within 3-business days of receiving your item(s) to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) to return the item(s). Restocking fees and reshipping fees will not be waived when returning mistakenly ordered item(s) for the correct item(s).
 
 

THEFT AND FRAUD
 
Theft and credit card fraud with not be tolerated. If you intend to purchase our products, and then create a false chargeback with your credit card company, YOU WILL BE PROSECUTED. Upon reversal of the chargeback, a research fee will be charged to your account to cover the investigative expenses imposed by the credit card company.
 
 

CHANGES TO POLICY
